Hello! My name is Jenny - I'm a filmmaker, producer & creative facilitator, with a passion for documentary, ambient & environmental filmmaking.

I'm working towards a more collective, sustainable, community led practice which explores our relationship with one another, and with the natural world.

I’m lucky enough to spend much of my time in wild, natural spaces. I care deeply about protecting them, and I think that film is a wonderful medium to translate the voices of the non-human world in a way that encourages us to listen, and to care.

I currently live in the beautiful city of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, and in the past few years have worked on two documentary feature films along with a number of short documentary & hybrid films. I also produce my own video & film content for a variety of community, arts and conservation organisations. I love using visual storytelling to support and champion the vital work of grassroots organisations working across social and environmental justice projects.

I'm passionate about opening access to filmmaking & creativity more generally, and I'm involved in a number of creative community projects in the city, including: programming & projecting at the 100% volunteer run Star & Shadow Cinema; working as the Production Manager at the Tyneside Cinema's newly launched Talent Unit for 17-25 year olds who want a practical way into the film industry.

Wherever possible, I spend my time out in the hills & crags. I feel most at home in these natural environments, and I've recently begun to experiment with using my camera to document some of my outdoor adventures on rock & on bike...more to come I hope!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my profile, please do reach out if you're interested in collaborating!
